Merry Christmas to All…

First, the kids/adults that ride the bus…The parents of the children that we are entrusted with…The staff of Kids for Jesus…The teachers and staff at the Academy School that give so much time and effort to give these children a Christian education…The good people at Rock Hill Truck, RB Allison and A&M Automotive for their efforts to keep the busses running. The parts house that helps supply our needs for the busses…Hugh Auto Parts…All the churches this year that helped copy the newsletters…the churches that helped supply groceries for needy families…I don’t know what I would do if it weren’t for Oakdale. All the churches that said you can use our facility…Grace Ministries, Cornerstone, First Church of the Nazarene, York Baptist…Lakewood Baptist for all they do for this ministry, making sure these kids had a place to go to church. Temple Baptist saying the doors are always open, come on…Sisk Memorial Baptist, saying, you need a place to bring them, Carolina Kids saying use our facility…Catawba Baptist seniors continued help, a special thank you…A convenience store owner saying I can buy one week of fuel a month…A car dealer calling coming down the interstate, I got you a bus, come get it (Note: this bus is going to be gutted of the seats, equipment will be installed to have church in low income projects. This bus will be run by Midtown Ministries out of the
York Baptist Association as a satellite church.) Praise Jesus’ holy name…Truly going after a lost dying world. All the people that support this ministry this year with your time, the hard but rewarding work, your money, your prayers…I made a promise to these children one time…As long as I have air in me, I’m coming after you. So many lives changed this year, 87 save, so many hopes and dreams being taken care of…Last night Sheree Ours soloed. She taught her first class…Sheree has been with me at least 4 years. Sheree with an adult supervisor said the class went well. Sheree is 14 years old. During church, a four year old told one of our staff she was still hungry…Last time I looked she was putting away some chicken nuggets…special thank you Shield of Faith for the van. We started a van ministry at a church last Sunday…The church up in Weddington that sends supplies to meet the needs of Kids for Jesus ministries, all of the Sunday School classes across York, Lancaster, Chester County that send money to support this ministry. If I missed you, I didn’t mean to…Remember, we don’t pass an offering plate. Jesus meets our needs through each and every one of you. May you and your families have a very Merry Christmas and a happy new year.

A Naughty List…

A little girl on the bus last night told me she had been put on the naughty list…So I questioned the statement. Seemed she was caught trying to peek into a wrapped present for her under the Christmas tree. She told me she had to do good till Christmas to get her presents…I think Jessie learned her lesson.

Bus Rules

We had four teens to break a rule on the bus…So simple, boys sit with boys and girls sit with girls over six years old. All they were doing was sitting together but…that’s the rule. First time enforced four weeks off the bus. Teems never give me any grief…ever. Tammy had a child that was using very ugly language as he got on the bus to go home. She called me on the bus to let me know she didn’t want this child left at home because of this. At the next bus stop, I asked the kids if they missed the four teens that were off for four weeks. All the hands went up. The next level is never ride again for the offense. I called them to let them know they could ride this weekend. Amanda said, “Do you really mean it? I can go to church Wednesday? Thank you Mr. Ronnie.” I love all of these kids with all my heart, but that’s a small portion of how much Jesus loves them. I thank Jesus for these kids.
