Keeping the Roads Hot.
I looked behind me and under me to see if the driver's seat was permanently attached.I do get off the bus a little bit. The bus is running very well and I am meeting a lot of new kids along the way. I have lost some of the regulars for part of the summer. They will be gone to Dads, Moms, Aunt and Uncles for a while but God won't let me drive an empty bus. He keeps filling it with new faces. The bus numbers are down some because of summer vacation/Bible schools going on everywhere. It's ok. It's giving me a chance right now to meet a lot of children and adults. Pray for the bus ministry.It's so hot on the bus. Last weekend I drove by the bank and the temperature was on 103 degrees. I don't think I had a dry stitch of clothes on me. The only air you have on the bus is hot at 50mph with the windows down. Starting last Sunday night, we will have a water cooler on the bus. A lady with the bus ministry bought it. Max at Springdale told me where the ice machine is at.said get what you need. Take care of those kids. God keeps on supplying our needs. Keeping the roads hot.we won't stop.Jesus says hurry.times running out. I'm coming back..

Intercity Vacation Bible School Planned.
The bible school will be the first full week of August. Some of the local churches cut back on bussing children this year for all kinds of reasons. But the children I took to bible school, some of them three years in a row asked me every time I see them, when was I coming to take them to bible school. I can tell them the first week of August. Churches and local businesses across Rock Hill will help support this mission work. I have a place for the VBS but we are looking for a place closer to the Saluda Street, White Street, Main and Black Street of town. I can reach more children if we don't have to bus as far. Kids for Jesus Ministry is planning for ages 3 years of age to young adults. We didn't want to leave the youth out of this. Last year/one night/234 children boarded two busses going to VBS. Call for info about helping. We will need approximately 200 workers to pull this off. Surely a mission work with a double portion of blessing. Call Mr. Ronnie at 803-325-5507.
Faster Pastor Race.
Last Saturday night Kids for Jesus Ministry made a stop at Lancaster Speedway. The track promoter asked if the children could sing at the pastors race. I took 50 bus kids to the race track. The race in golf carts was quite a hit. Pastors make crazy racers. Just a good night of fun. The race was good.the pastors from eleven different churches put on quite a show.the kids sang their hearts out and the winner, when the dust cleared, was Jesus. Quite a different night at the races. Surely a family place to take the kids. The race car drivers went in the stands and thru the pit area.taking up a donation to run the Bus Ministry. The total was $1,510.70. The bus wheels just don't and won't stop turning. Thanks to all that gave to this ministry. The kids said thank you for a night they will never forget.

Giving God the Glory
Taking the children home a couple of Sundays ago.my phone rang. The lady on the other end of the phone is working in a church in Kershaw, S.C. Kids of Jesus supplied a bus for them a while back. This lady teaches children's church at Prodical Freewill Baptist Church. This lady called to let me know that two children off of the bus had gotten saved. This lady in this small but growing church is only 14 years old. She was quite a bus kid when she rode with us at 10 years of age. I know where her roots come from.I have no doubt what this young lady is teaching. Brook Suttle was my bus secretary when she was 12 years old. God will change many lives thru this child. Pray that God will poor his blessing out on this child as she shares the gospel with these children.

To all that support this ministry… A special thanks… so many lives are being touched. This ministry has a Federal EIN number and has applied for a 501C3 status. We have 27 months to complete the forms for this status. We can accept tithes, offerings, or anything of value to help build this ministry…truly a mission work here at home.
