Could You Bring Us Some Kids.Why Not
With summer winding down.School starting back.Looking at the way schedules change with the bus during the school year.I get a phone call on a Sunday afternoon around 5pm. I was asked if I could bring some kids to another VBS.Starting the next day. I was to be there at 6:30pm on Monday. We rolled in the first night with 56 on the bus. We ran in the sixties the rest of the week. Special thanks to a loving bunch of people for the invite to be a part of there VBS. To Pastor Rick Morris and their loving church family at Emmanuel Nazarene Church, a special thank you.
You just have to be there
A young lady that rides the bus lost her dad a while back. One of the few things she received after his death was the wrist watch that her father wore. Karely asked me if I would wear this watch. She wanted me to have her dad's watch. Karely is 14 years old. She got saved a couple of weeks back. This young lady is a big part of the Bus Ministry. I will wear her dad's watch with honor. But someday when Karley gets a little older, I will return this special keepsake to her. Pray that God will direct this child in the direction that she must go.
Sure Could Use Your Help
Kids for Jesus Ministry is having a Tent Revival starting September 15th 2008 at Temple Baptist Church on Celriver Road in Rock Hill, SC at 7pm nightly. It was going to be for three days. One of our workers said why does it have to be for three days? As long as you have preachers that will preach, why can't it go on? Well, now it's for two weeks. This revival is all about Jesus. This revival will not be about Kids for Jesus Ministry, Temple Baptist or any other church that partners to be a part of this work for our Lord and savior. Be a stand up Christian, get on board and come be a part.
Things we need:
- Christians to help set up, tear down, tent stuff.
- Singers that will come and share a song at the services
- Volunteers to help advertise and invite the lost to come to the revival
- Nursery workers…We would like to provide a nursery in the fellowship hall nightly for Infants to 4years old. (Come change a pamper for Jesus)
- Parking lot attendants to make sure cars aren’t tampered with during service
- Your prayers that God’s will be done with this revival.
- Donations to run the revival.

At That Very Moment in Time
One of my Bus Kids was told by her mom that she may not be here to raise her. This 10 year old was told that on Monday she was to go to the doctor's office to get test results concerning the mother's health. Because the child's dad had passed away, it would be up in the air who would take care of her. As she cried sharing this with me, she told me, "Mr. Ronnie, I don't want my mommy to die, I don't want to live with anyone else." I told this child that we would take it to the alter on Sunday morning. As we gathered in during prayer time, a lot of the children and adults prayed for this mother with this child. On Monday, mom went to the doctor for the news.There was no cancer to be found. God healed this lady. To God be the glory. God's still answering prayers. Special thanks to Jesus.
